The LIGMO Method for Resilient Grieving™

Grieving is normal.
Suffering is optional.

From grief to grace, the journey from pain to peace.

A path I walked myself.

I know what it is to have your world stop.

In 2022, my son Aaron was brutally killed. The news shattered my heart and left me facing a loss no mother ever expects to endure.

I needed more than someone telling me to “be strong” or assuring me that time would heal. I needed a way to understand what I was feeling, express what was unfinished, and find my way forward without leaving my love for Aaron behind.

After taking a grief recovery course, I began studying grief more deeply and sharing what I learned with others. Along the way, an essential LIGMO truth took on new meaning: grief is a natural response to loss, and we can learn to loosen the grip of the pain we carry.

This program brings together emotional awareness, gentle practices for the body, and spiritual reflection to help you deepen your understanding of loss and the mysteries of the human journey. Learn to regulate your emotions, elevate your perspective, and travel more lightly through life’s highs and lows—discovering what each experience can teach you.

You will learn to

  • Normalize grief as a healthy human response
  • Release emotional energy stored in the body
  • Let go of myths like “be strong” and “time heals all”
  • Complete a major loss through gratitude, forgiveness and expression
  • Remember love, meaning and connection beyond the loss
